Striped mani with Ginger polish Singing in the rain

[EN] When I first saw a swatch of Singing in the rain by a Russian indie nail brand Ginger polish, I fell in love and soon purchased this wonderful shade. It had been waiting to be used for a month, 'cause I couldn't make up any suitable nail art. And then it came to my head in a moment: kind of monochrome stripes.
[RU] Когда я впервые увидела свотчи чудесного лака Singing in the rain от российского инди-бренда Ginger polish, я влюбилась моментально и вскоре его купила. Он месяц ждал, чтобы я им воспользовалась, но я застряла и не могла придумать подходящий к нему нейл-арт. И вдруг он в один момент родился у меня в голове: типа монохромные полосочки.

[EN] Here's my new nail art. It's got flowers - kind of roses. For me it's a very spring while not pastel mani, I love the color combination in it!
[RU] Вот мой новый нейл-арт. В нем цветы - типа роз. Для меня этот маникюр очень весенний, но при этом не пастельный; и мне нравится получившееся сочетание цветов.

My Christmas-y nails

[EN] I really love this Christmas color combination of red and green. But the problem is that it's usually associated with one football club rather than something like Christmas tree decorated in red :( I made this nail art as a protest, and I also added white. As the green polish has a lot of blue tone, the combination looks more neutral than it would if the green were grass-green. 
[RU] Мне очень нравится это рождественское цветовое сочетание красного и зеленого. Но проблема в том, что оно обычно ассоциируется с одним футбольным клубом, нежели с елкой, наряженной в красное :( Я сделала этот нейл-арт в качестве протеста, и еще добавила в него белый. Поскольку в зеленом лаке очень много синего оттенка, сочетание смотрится спокойнее, чем если бы это был травяной цвет.

[RU] Продолжаю тестировать косметику, полученную в конкурсе. В этот раз я опробовала роскошный лак от China Glaze - 70333 Vermillion. В пузырьке он выглядит несколько более алым, а на ногтях приобретает оттенок, скорее близкий к ягодному, но в целом, цвет на ногтях и в пузырьке почти полностью соответствуют друг другу. В этом лаке сочетается желейная текстура и сильная пигментированность, дающая непрозрачное покрытие. Мне кажется, именно такое сочетание позволяет получить прекрасный и живой цвет, который будет казаться невесомым на ногтях и подойдет к любому образу.

[EN] Going on testing the cosmetics I got in the contest. This time, I tested luxurious nail polish  70333 Vermillion by China Glaze. It seems to me a bit more scarlet in the bottle and more berry-red on the nails, although, generally, the shade in the bottle and on the nails are pretty alike. The jelly formula's combined in this polish with a lot of pigment which makes the coat opaque on the nails. I think this combination works perfect letting you create beautiful lively color that'll seem weightless on the nail and will suit to any look.

Towel nail art (Ногти к полотенцу)

[RU] С наступлением жары мне захотелось наполнить солнцем все вокруг. Поэтому я создала дизайн, напоминающий по цвету мое любимое полосатое пляжное полотенце.
[EN] Since it became hot I've got the desire to fill everything around with sunlight. That's why I created the design that reminds my favourite striped beach towel.

[RU] Ногти действительно подходят к полотенцу! Несмотря на то, что вблизи они очень яркие, они хорошо смотрелись и с одеждой нейтрального цвета, поскольку я не надевала никаких украшений и ногти были единственным ярким акцентом.
[EN] The nails really suit the towel! Despite being very bright when you look at them closely, they looked good with neutral colored clothes, as I didn't wear any other accessories but the nails as an accent.
