Geometric nail art with OPI polishes + review

Hello lovelies!

[EN] I've bought 3 OPI polishes on a sale. All the shades are quite controversial but charming. In this nail art I used two of them.
[RU] Я купила 3 лака OPI на распродаже. Все цвета довольно неоднозначные, но завораживающие. В этом нейл-арте я воспользовалась двумя из них.

[EN] The basic color is Did you 'ear about Van Gogh. I really loved this ironic name, but the swatches on the web were so different! I was wearing this polish plain for one day (it was 14th of Feb). And I found out that the color can seem gray, olive, yellow-y beige or pink-y beige, depending on the lighting and the color of my hand skin (it's much pinker when it's cold). This polish isn't a real nude, it's more a nude-style gray. And I can't say whether I like it or not.

[RU] Базовый цвет у меня Did you 'ear about Van Gogh. Мне очень понравилось его ироничное название, но свотчи в интернете были такими разными! Я проносила этот лак соло один день (это было 14е февраля). И я выяснила, что этот цвет может выглядеть серым, оливковым, желто-бежевым или розово-бежевым в зависимости от освещения и цвета моих рук (они сильно розовеют на холоде). Это лак - не настоящий нюд, а скорее нюдово-серый. И я не могу сказать, нравится ли он мне вообще или нет. 

[EN] The formula is fine, the polish is absolutely opaque in two coats; one coat isn't enough for me, plus I'm not good at applying thick coats. The polish doesn't bubble and dries pretty fast.

[RU] Консистенция лака отличная, он полностью непрозрачный в два слоя; одного слоя мне недостаточно, к тому же я не очень хорошо справляюсь с нанесением толстых слоев. Лак не пузырит и довольно быстро сохнет.

[EN] The dark polish is actually deep green Here today Aragon tomorrow. It's hard to believe that it isn't black but it really isn't. This polish's formula is something I'm not sure about. Is it supposed to be like thit? When I was painting my polish display with this color I had to apply 3 rather thick coats, the polish bubbled and also I could see some pigment particles or a kind of dust of a darker color than the polish base (shaking didn't help to solve these particles). For this manicure I applied only two coats, and the polish started to look black, while in one coat it wasn't even enough.

I'm rather disappointed with this most expected polish out of the three. I'll try it on the whole nails later and will hope it'll look better.

[RU] Темный лак - это на самом деле темно-зеленый Here today Aragon tomorrow. Трудно поверить, что он не черный, но он реал не черный. Я не очень уверена насчет консистенции этого лака. Она должна такой быть? Когда я наносила этот лак на ромашку, мне пришлось накрасить ее в три слоя, лак запузырил, и еще было видно какие-то частички пигмента типа такой крошки более темного цвета, чем лак (встряхивание не помогло растворить ее). Для своего маникюра я нанесла данный лак только в два слоя, и он стал выглядеть черным, когда в один слой он ложился недостаточно равномерно.

Я весьма разочарована этим лаком, который был наиболее ожидаемым из трех. Позже попробую его еще на целых ногтях и буду надеяться, что он будет лучше смотреться.

[EN] As for nail art, I used scotch tape to paint the triangles and then I also painted the borders with a thin brush and sparkling polish.

[RU] Что касается нейл-арта, то я использовала скотч, чтобы нарисовать уголочки, а потом еще прорисовала границы с помощью тонкой кисточки и блестящего лака.

[EN] Have you ever been disappointed with a polish you'd had big expectations about?
